Feed The Need Donation Drive

The United Way of Southern Kentucky is hoping you can help Feed the Need this weekend, as it holds its store drive at locations across south-central Kentucky.

The store drive happens on Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. A full list of locations is below.

All of the food that is donated in each county will go to local families in that area. United Way's goal this year is to provide food for families in need as well as those who were affected by the tornado.

Suggested items include:
* Non-perishable canned meat/protein: tuna fish, canned ham, canned chicken, Spam, peanut butter, chicken or beef stew, etc.

* Meal from a Box: Hamburger Helper, Pasta Helper, Mac & Cheese, etc.

* All other non-perishable items are accepted. The organization does note that they cannot accept homemade canned or homemade goods. Food must be in original packaging with proper labels for distribution.
